Tiziana Lembo

Tiziana Lembo undertook training in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Milan, Italy, and International Animal Health (MSc) and Veterinary Epidemiology (PhD) at the former Centre for Tropical Veterinary Medicine, University of Edinburgh, UK. Tiziana is currently a senior lecturer in microbiology at the University of Glasgow. Her research focuses on infectious disease problems affecting the health of marginalised communities as well as their livelihoods as a result of impacts on the health and productivity of their livestock. She has worked on pathogens of major public health and economic importance, such as rabies, anthrax, and foot-and-mouth disease, in eastern Africa.
